Fallen Kingdom

I look out of my rugged window
With terrible sadness in my sight
I look upon the falling kingdom
I look upon it day and night
I cannot bare to see it fall
The city that has deceived
All people crying, starving are lost
Because they thought they could believe
In all the things the city had to offer
Riches, diamonds, rubies and gold
Disguised as poverty and hardship
This time I can’t be bold
I have to say goodbye
This deceived city I am to leave
As I am going to a better place
One where the Rubies don’t deceive
