I am the whispers that you hear on the wind,
The screams that shatter the earth.
I am the fingers that pluck your heartstrings,
The colours that press beneath your eyes.
I am the giver and the taker,
The beginning and the end.
I am the rise and the fall,
Your hope and despair.
I am your salvation,
Your failure.
I am forever and fleeting.
Meek and wild,
Hot and cold,
Life and death.
I am humanity.
