There’s hardship in the hyphenations ,
cuisines of confusion we are,
go easy on the sauce bottle will ya?!

We are the warm Australian sun
yet the oriental humid breeze.

Mentally Caucasian yet physically not so,
Carrying our cultural tapestry with heavy hearts,

We’ll get there some day
Where ethnic meets Aussie,
And there’s enlightenment in the equilibrium.
