It’s like I was running away,
Away from life,
My family, my memories (good and bad).
I’ve tried to tell him,
He gets so angry and frustrated,
I’m scared he will hurt me,
That he will throw whatever is in range.
My horse Jak carried me,
Not knowing where we were going but hoping we were going…away.
I felt free with unlimited time to spare,
and the wonderful feeling of having no idea where we were going.
We galloped for hours and hours on end,
Watching the cars closely as they were passing us by.
I’m never going back
