A Good Old Autumn Day

Leaves are falling off the trees,
From the windy afternoon breeze,
Kids are playing in leaves or what they like to call blankets,
We could also easily make red, orange and brown leaf anklets.
Days are creeping shorter,
Nights are growing longer.
And were thinking to ourselves where’s summer.
Birds are chirping too one another,
Like there looking for their mother.
Grannies knitting all day long,
While the rest of the world is singing a song.
Americans call it fall,
While us Aussies have a ball.
Nothing is as pleasant as a,
Good old autumn day.
