Fields of green, Poppies of red,
I honour you alive or dead.
For those fought full of heart,
So brave and courageous from the start.
So I honour you, here you lay,
We remember you on Anzac Day.
You said farewell to your family and wives,
And went to war to risk your lives.
We're are not here to glorify war but remember,
Let's never burn out their flaming ember.
For those who fought with heavy metal,
We honour you by Poppies blood petal.
So as we have moment to reflect,
Let us say lest we forget.
