Oh Jessie, I love that you smell like an old rug that’s been in the mud,
sometimes I think you come from bad blood.
You look like an angel,
but when guests arrive you turn into a devil, and our guests run and hide.
You look so smart, but sometimes I wonder why you bark at birds, people and thunder.
Oh Jessie, you may be small and cute,
but you eat like a hog all sweaty and toot.
Oh Jessie, your hearing is so great,
you could hear a snail strolling at the end of the gate.
You love to walk around the town,
with your four stumpy legs, black, white and brown.
Oh Jessie, even though you are all of these things,
I don’t care you’re the best dog around.
