Lock your doors and shut them tight,
You never know what lurks at night.
Run around, turn out the light,
Before the ghosts give you a fright!
Run upstairs, go to straight to sleep,
And do not make another peep.
If you stay up you will find,
That those creatures aren’t so kind.
If you wait they’ll go away,
And you hope, away they’ll stay!
And when you find that it is dawn,
You realise and you start to yawn.
The time has come, now it’s here!
It’s finally the end of fear!
Now’s the time for fun today,
Go outside, go and play.
