The Water Bird of History

It glides across the water’s edge
Dipping its wings in the liquid crystal
It stops upon a rocky ledge
The landscape making the scene so blissful
Such a gorgeous bird from beak to claw
Its wings patterned with dancing shadows
If only right now that you saw
Its body richer than the Pharaohs
Its eyes gleaming like the sun
Its talons filled with power
This bird was created to stun
This bird wasn't created to cower
The bird leading a mystery
Its beak turned towards the heaven
The bird leading history
The bird’s mind’s a weapon
