SCARED TO LOVE SONG

Closed up, boxed in, and bottled up in fear.
My eyes started to water and here come the tears.
I cried all night long
singing my broken hearted song.
And now I know the truth, how dare someone treat me that way?
He laughed in my crying face- but he’ll be the one to pay.
How can I love someone new if an ex will still scream his name?
I'm scarred for one mistake when I got wrapped up in his game.
The guy that can't fix problems 'cause he'd rather be stoned
will be the one, when karma comes, to wind up alone.
Can’t say that I have truly loved because that would be a lie
Please don’t be the one to sit back and watch a part of me die.
I’m happy with my life, only scared to let someone else play a part.
Can’t I be happy just to watch someone else give their heart?
This is the last time I show I'm hurt by what went wrong...
