Darkness Arise

The sun goes down,
the moon appears
The vampires become the children’s fears.
Behind the curtains,
under beds
As vampires lurk for human flesh.
As their teeth go deep in your skin,
They put you in a terrible spin.
Round and round your head goes,
Blood leaves your body,
you have no hope.
The sun arises,
their skin sparkles bright.
The fright is over,
what an awful night.
Thank god for that,
It was just a dream.
I look under my bed,
In shock I scream.
