Peace

Shots ring above their heads
Beside them and all around them
They are fearful but brave too.
All they want is peace
Not war they want to return home.
They miss their loved ones
Their families, their mothers, fathers,
Wives, husbands, children and neighbours.
They wish war would end not continue.
Soldiers fall beside them wounded and killed
They don't wish this hell to continue they pray for peace.
They gave their today so we can have our tomorrow.
