We run down that cracked concrete road.
We made up our own special code.
Just two little kids just you and me
that perfect feeling of being so free.
We lived in a castle where only the bad guys die
little did we know that was all a lie.
Innocence fades, everlasting happiness does too.
I just never thought that I'd lose you.
Being so pure doesn't last forever
we were never meant to stay together.
As we grew up and left all that behind
our beautiful castle is impossible to find.
Now I've discovered good guys can die.
We can't live forever and we can't fly.
In the end there was only one thing left to do.
To say goodbye to you and of course that picture perfect castle we were living in too.
