Blue is the colour of rain pouring out of an angry cloud
Blue is the colour of sadness and loneliness
Blue is the colour of tears dripping down your cheeks
Blue is the colour of the fresh, ripe blueberries growing on a bush
Blue is the colour of the pen I use
Blue is the colour of a sapphire gemstone on a necklace
Blue is the colour of the blue ribbon you get when you win a race
Blue is the colour of the frozen ice on a winter’s day
