Wattles breathe with joy and happiness.
They make you warm from cold with beauty.
The more wattles I see, the more tears there may be,
For the wattles I see come from the land, not the sea.

Australia’s shiny wattle trees
Are more shiny than bees.
With golden tips of love,
Like a warm and bright glove.

Wattles shine with the colour of life.
