My life is weakening,
as I take my last embrace.
It's getting harder to breathe,
as I look at my daughter's sorrowful face.
The pain of leaving my family behind,
is much worse than the agony of death.
Later, I see darkness and that's all,
then I whisper goodbye as my head begins to fall.
My spirit is lifted to the world above,
and I look down at the people who I know and love.
What is the feeling that I know own?
We're separated and all alone.
This is it. There is nothing left.
All except this fateful death.
