They rush through the doors in a river of men.
Waves crash the flimsy door off its hinges.
The nurses struggle, the beds are flooded with people.
A room with minds from a raging sea.
Eyes of a fiery red, their pain burning holes in hearts
Their seeping blood a charcoal black
Their limbs the wood alight.
Wind change, people change
In and out, in, out. Men live, men die
A breath of relief, a sigh of distress, a howl of pain.
They deal with the tidal waves
They heal the burns
They keep the wind blowing, In. Out.
