I am one accustomed to darkened trails,
and the gloomy ambience that they entail.
With the eerie sounds of unknown creatures,
I envision their abnormal, ghoulish features.
As I dawdle through the unforgiving bramble,
a ghostly feeling begins to make me scramble.
Its touch causing my body to shudder,
that’s when I noticed the threatening colour.
An almost cerulean, almost teal,
it exuded an unusual, ominous feel.
I surveilled it weaving throughout the trees,
as it approached me, I began to freeze.
