Salute the soldier of fur and will,
For he has now come to still.
Once ran through the poppy fields.
Now he lays his head.
In heavens folds of peace.
Comes even to the dead.
No more will he run through gunfire,
No more escaping shells.
For now the time has come,
To bear his story’s end.
We will not forget.
Mans best friend.
Serving in the military.
Until the very end.
Goodbye.
