Cold, still face not move one bit
Where hope and happiness is normally lit
But that slowly drained out a while ago
Sadly that was replaced with no such glow
As I look into the depressed fearful eyes
Tears stain the carpet where they lie
I was staring down at lonely empty soul
Once colour and warmth circled in a happy way
Then he could not see the magic in present day
You could see dark hiding them from the light
No hope or joy came near there sight
They tried to fight but soon gave in
They did there best but knew they couldn’t win
They knew there time would soon be done
For death has always won
