Finalist in the 'Word Zone 2016' competition
A rose within the bunch.
Red shining with grace.
A company during the lunch.
A time to endure and embrace.
Smiles among others, love with each other.
Standing with us giving her time.
A mother, sister, aunty and daughter.
A faith within her we attain to find.
A sickness that grew could never corrupt the heart.
A will to live, never to falter.
Her courage conceals a memory of art.
Her life to change, one could imagine to alter.
Unforgiving on such a red rose of love.
The petals are soft and slowly fading.
In her cycle may she rest above.
The end of the Red Rose Falling.
