SOLDIER acrostic poem By Jess 6JC


Shocked and scared as I weave myself through the dead men.
Officers yelling out harsh commands to the bloody battlefield.
Lives being lost by the loud echo of flying bullets.
Devastation filling the air, from the dead and injured.
I watch wounded men die in between my teary eyes.
Explosions surrounding me.
Reality, will it ever be me?
