Joy is as powerful as a balloon bursting into flakes of colour,
It has the prettiest smell like sweetness filling the air,
It makes you want to smile like the sun.
Joy is as sweet as lollies running down your throat,
It’s like a rainbow that tastes like fresh fruit,
And cheeping birds that sound like a choir.
Joy is as soft as a fluffy kitten,
It makes you feel as lucky as four-leaf clover,
It smells like warm melted chocolate.
Joy is as happy as a vanilla cake,
It makes you feel like you have got the power,
It makes you feel like jumping as high as the clouds.
Joy makes you feel thoughtful,
It’s like someone special saying, “I’m so excited!”
It’s like seeing your best friend.
