Golden Bird

The golden bird flew down,
A shimmering angel,
She was treasure,
Finally found.
She sang her angelic song,
And dazzling sunbursts,
Erupted from the golden bird,
I was pulled closer,
As if the bird was a siren.
But then she flapped her lacy wings,
And flew off,
Tail blowing behind her,
Would she come back?
I sat, I waited,
The bird came,
And I flew away with her.
