I'm a little crab,
People like to eat me with a salad kebab.
I live on land in the sand,
But watch out I might nip your hand.
I spend most of my time in the shallow calm waves,
Because I feel like I'm in a cave.
I go on holidays to the clear rock pool,
This is where I feel cool.
Don't go swimming and leave your food,
I'll take it if I'm in the mood.
The steaming hot sun shines on my back,
I hope my precious shell doesn't crack.
