A young girl sat with her head against the glass.
Tears glistened on her face.
Her life felt empty and incomplete
without her mothers grace.
As memories of her mother appeared,
And the snow descended before her wake,
She gazed out the frosted window,
And saw a delicate, white snowflake.
As beautiful as her mothers charm,
It fell gently on the breeze.
And as she watched it slowly land,
She was filled with serene ease.
If something of such elegant beauty,
Could fall into Earth's care,
One can only imagine
How heaven must compare.
