Walk Alone

As I walk, I walk and remember,
All the signs we used to see,
And the plans we made together, of the people we wanted to be,
Now there's no one here beside me, to wipe away the tears,
The trails they leave behind me, from all those perfect years,
The path I walk alone now, won't lead me back to you,
The light is fading quickly, and your smile once lit by the moon,
And I have never jumped from this high,
But I've tied a rope, and I'm hoping it'll make you mine.
