We see everything through our eyes
But always seem to ignore the lies.
The sorrow, hate and fear too
The world outside; we never knew.
Basking in sunlight
At the dawn of day
What a beautiful sight
I can’t even say!
But she’s petrified;
She has nowhere to go
Her parents’ location;
We’ll never know.
But we can do it
I know we can
So let’s take care of each other
With a helping hand
