I Am Poem

I am a tank
I wonder about destruction
I hear gun fire and bombs going off
I see armies of tanks and armies charging forward
I want to destroy
I am a tank
I pretend to feel weak
I feel nothing
I touch metal with metal
I worry that I am the first tank to be destroyed
I cry for my allies help
I am a tank
I understand war
I say we must have victory
I dream about the future
I try to believe we are powerful
I hope one day for war to be over
l am a tank
