Roses are red, Violets are blue, but what about Poppies?
Well, they're red too...
Bullets rained down on camouflaged heads,
The wounded were rushed to their hospital beds.
The families prayed, they wished they could see
What their loving, unfortunate son's fate would be.
LEST WE FORGET
The front line angels rushed to all who bled,
Wishing they were somewhere else instead!
They ran into danger, again and again,
To save the lives of their dying friends.
We owe them our lives for their sacrifice
Undying loyalty comes at a price...
LEST WE FORGET
