Music = Life

Music is life.
Yet no spark dwells within me
Waiting to be fuelled, to consume me in passionate heat.
But instead, a damp emptiness wallows.
Beautifully lyrical speaking sounds of wonder
Erupting emotions and moving dead souls
But in me...is just a yearning.
"Transport me far in opalescent fields"
For something special to hold dear"
It tempts me with promises of golden fields
But does not lift me there. It leaves me stranded.
To be so cruel, tis not the giver of life.
Just sound in orchestrated rhythms.
Sound structured to be analysed.
Trapped by music. Trapped in a want.
Drowning in sound.
