In the dead of night.
You can hear a fight.
Guns, yelling, explosions, smoke.
Too much smog, about to choke.
Wildfires, like a firework show.
Then, you hear a blow. You get ready to leave.
They want to achieve.
In the distance. You want to start a resistance.
But you can’t, so run.
You see someone, with a gas gun. As you stroll you talk.
Soon you don’t want to walk.
Instead, you want to drop dead.
What you want is a bed. Then, out of the blue. A tank.
The deafening engine. The tank, as big a giraffe.
Coming. Coming. Coming. Then, BANG!
BOOM! Run! A world of complete fear.
