As I open the creaky door,
The noise abruptly cuts off.
All I hear is silence,
But then a raspy cough.
A bomb goes off inside of me,
And I'm pushed up against a wall!
An angry drunk grabbing my collar,
Suddenly, I feel very small.
The man's eyes glisten like watery puddles,
His voice, a hissing snake.
"Get away from me!" he angrily screams.
Just as my neck begins to ache.
I feel like a popped balloon,
Being tossed around like a sack.
One last look at those fiery eyes,
Then my cruel world fades to black,
