Tears For A Friend

A teardrop falls, such a beautiful thing,
Perfectly sculpted from sorrow it flows,
Crystal clear, but cold does it sting,
Alone in a heart sadness it sows,
With a shivering cold, and a shallow breath,
A soul cries out, broken is the dream,
A heart bleeds out, alone, saddened, bereft,
Tears cascade where once happiness gleamed.
Cold, alone, frightened, lost,
A teardrop falls, silent of sound,
Alone in a world as cold as frost,
It spatters, it shatters, a heart sinks down,
Down to the depths of a broken soul,
Friendship wrenched, hopes came to an end,
Happiness lingered at the point of downfall,
Please come back to me! You were my FRIEND!!!
