When you open your eyes, know I am there
Your mind or your sheets, I will be there with you
You were peaceful, I miss the way you were
Forever guarding; my wings out of view
I will slay the nightmares, it's my duty
While you lay there sleeping, fighting for me
A peaceful sleep purposed for your beauty
Your angel, your friend. Always so carefree
When you toss and turn, my cold heart shatters
It would be worthless to fight without it
I'm dependent on you. My life in tatters
Always fighting, I will never submit
None will stop me, not even gods above
I do anything for your smile, my love
