On My Mind

The days will feel like millions of years,
And the weeks will never seem to end.
But always remember that I'll be here,
After all, you are my best friend.
Whenever you're away,
I don't feel the same,
Like a part of me has gone missing.
And then I remember,
January to December,
You’ve always been my favourite blessing.
I will always be here for you,
And you'd best keep that in mind.
Because just in case you hadn't noticed,
You’re on mine all the time.
