Too old for children's fantasies but too young to be an adult
Expected to be mature although sometimes we're not
Expectations piled so high they seem so out of reach
Not knowing what to do is just the start of all our grief
Although we may be moody and arrogant at times, your love and support gets us through even the worst times
Growing up is not an option this isn't Peter Pan. Although I wouldn't mind a trip to Neverland
Everything is changing at rapid pace it seems, soon we will leave high school and head towards our dreams
Remember this though, being a teenager might get you into strife but it will be worth it if you get in a give it a try
