We are the people between the lines
The memories that are kept inside.
We are the feelings left unsaid
The pain-caused confusion hanging in the air.
We are the moments whisked away
The silent screams that no one made.
We are the forgotten empty souls
The minds created to be unsolved.
We are the seconds slowed to a pause
The slow-motion movement when you’re still unsure.
We are the angels in a child’s nightmare,
The unknown guardians that unintentionally scare.
We are the God-sent and unmistakeable warmth
The angels of innocence to hold you up when you fall.
