Waterfalls are mystical showers cascading
Sprays of crystal reflecting in the sun.
Rainbows dancing between the droplets
Graceful swans of water displaying their beauty.
But beware the power it hides beneath,
It's journey shall take it thundering down
Down to the rocks below
Blanketing the boulders angrily
Hiding them all away from view.
Rushing rapids continue their quest further and further
The thief stealing all that gets in its way.
Slowing down, its glory days completed
Beginning to relax its pace
It's run its race, calming down it bubbles along
The pathway of sparkling jewels gently rippling
Till its journey's end at the mouth of the ocean wide.
