Emotions

Anger, sadness, hatred, depression
these are just words that show emotion
Joy, excitement, happiness, glee
these are the happy ones inside of me
Crying, smashing, stomping, drink
these are some things that make me sink
Dancing, jumping, laughing, fun
these things make me smile a ton
But when these emotions crowd my mind
sometimes it’s overwhelming and I become tired
I write and I write the emotions away
but some of the good ones, I let them stay
I conclude my poem with just one last word
enjoy your emotions, they’re not just absurd
