There is an old man walking, on a pair of frail legs,
A woman hanging out clothing with pegs.
The smoking taxi speeds, along the depressing, black road,
at the same time a truck sinks low, in pain from its load.
But who steers these vehicles, and controls their every thought?
The drivers, sometimes speeding, hoping they don’t get caught.
The coppers in blue, always keeping their eyes peeled,
solving crime as if, they possess a magnetic field.
The stay at home mother, cleaning her box-like home,
wishing and dreaming, that she could just roam.
The butchers, the bakers, the business creators,
dragging themselves to work, walking across concrete acres.
