Her love was like the branches of a tree trying to grow to meet the sky
Her mind was like a summers day happy and bright, bathing in the warm summer rays
Her heart was like a drum beating to an endless rhythm waiting for the lyrics to be written
And her stomach twisted with butterflies trying to break free
But when the day finally came to share the thought and feelings she kept hidden deep within and finally wore her heart on her sleeve her tears were like an endless waterfall and she felt numb from the pain in her heart
And her love that was like branches trying to grow to the sky were cut down and burned
And her mind that was like a summers day became clouded and foggy making her feel cold inside
And her heart that was like an endless rhythm waiting for the lyrics that would never come settled into a quiet thump that suddenly stoped
And her stomach that was filled with butterflies started to wither into ashes
And she became emotionless like a stream without anywhere to go and she locked her heart away and built walls taller than skyscrapers never to be Brocken down
