A Day At The Beach

We’re going to the beach today, hip hip hooray!
Once we are there,
Dad says, "Take care.”
While the waves splash on the sea shore,
I first go play with Theodore.
Making sandcastles is so much fun,
Mum is eating a delicious plum.
There are seashells in my pocket, so let’s go look for a bucket.
My baby sister is playing with beach toys,
A game of touch is played by some boys.
Dad and I go to swim in the sea,
And we then spot a boat called ‘Serenity’.
“Let’s play hopscotch,” calls Lily,
Then come my cousins, Tom and Milly.
The whole family is having fun together,
And a joke is told by Aunty Heather.
Giggling and all, we suddenly see and ice-cream store.
Under the setting sun, we wish this day was never done.
