The sweet sound
Fills my ears
As the cherry blossoms
Fall, drifting, drifting
The pink little petals
Take a leap as they surround
What should be mine
I want to steal the sound, take it away
And put it in a box
Where only I may be blessed with its melodies
But I cannot, as the flute that creates it
Will not obey
Without my sister's cherished lips
The sound goes on and with it this time
The calls of my mother tell me to go
I frown, and as I leave, the sound follows me
