Water is flowing creating a flood,
from the river, splashing mud.
Heavy rain just makes it worse
this day is the worst in the universe.
People are drowning, others are screaming,
calling for help while the water’s streaming.
Water, like a warrior is fighting,
making the houses fall, how frightening!
Scary, salty so savage,
can we survive all this damage?
I run up the stairs as fast as lightning,
I can’t stop myself from nail-biting.
Finally, the rain is stopping,
and the water is dropping.
Now the water’s going down,
Leaving me safe and sound.
