I watched the airborne sea bash against the board walk
I just stood there and froze in fright I could not talk
The fish was fast and I was slow
The little critter bit me on the toe.
I dove in the beautiful water so cold and blue
Oh dear that’s not right something bit my shoe
A big droplet of water splashed on my nose
I wonder if the ocean was filled with a hose.
I lay in the sizzling sand, the water lapping against my side
The bright sand was boiling in a minute I'm going to be fried
I was about to get up when I felt something nibble my finger
I leapt up quick and ran off... I really did not want to linger.
Oh my, PIRANHA! And it's not going to let go of me any time soon
I was screaming so loud but everyone thought I was singing tunes
The fish escaped with my finger and now I need plaster
This day at the beach has been a piranha disaster
