Darkened hearts,
Marks and scars
A war inside that we all hide
We bury it down,
Deeper below
Storming down to the pits we go.
We stare at the sky,
Praying tonight,
But God doesn’t listen,
He doesn’t care
He loves to watch us writhe in despair.
Why oh god, Don’t you see?
The darkness inside is crushing me,
I’ve tried to be nice, I’ve tried to be fair,
now i’m beginning to not even care.
