Misinterpreted

Diggers came back from war.
With medals for bravery and all.
But they do not feel like heroes because of the medals they own.
They feel, the heroes are the ones that never came home.
So they say that when you think of heroes,
You need to understand.
The greatest heroes of all were killed defending this land.
