I woke up this morning and this is what I heard.
I heard the birds singing and the guinea pigs squeaking.
I heard the dogs barking and I looked at my mirror,
I turned to look back out the window and I said to myself,
“What will I do without you? Because you’re music.
What will I do without you? What?”
Mum ran into my room and shouted,
“You are late for school, come on.”
I cried to mum, “But I wouldn’t hear them.”
Then mum roared at me, “You are going to school now.”
When I got to school, I said to myself again,
“Now you are not here, I might just sit down.”
But then there were birds singing and the dogs were barking
across the road, they had a guinea pig, it was squeaking.
Yay! The music is back, Yay!
