Excellence Award in the 'Spread The Word 2017' competition
The sun’s rays are waking
With sleepy eyes she winks,
She blooms orange, pink and blue,
And stripy white prints,
She brings a new day,
With happiness, no doubt,
Yesterday’s insecurities disappear,
As darkness fades out,
I rise to meet her beauty,
She whispers, “Good day,”
Lays warm kisses on my face,
As she forgets yesterday’s mistakes.
